Epiroc/Kleeman Lube Field Technician
role at Power Equipment Company. Location: Johnson City, TN. Salary: $15.30 – $22.95 per hour. Job Summary: The Field Lube Service Technician is the primary frontline representative for Power Equipment. You will perform routine scheduled machine maintenance and fluid sampling on a wide variety of drilling, crushing, and screening equipment within a designated geographic territory. You will identify and communicate additional machine needs or repair requirements to customers and branch management. Responsibilities
Daily interaction with company and customer personnel Operate various heavy equipment Inspect machines for abnormalities or defects Perform routine scheduled heavy equipment maintenance Perform fluid sampling Complete maintenance records Enter and retrieve information in computer-based systems Perform basic machine systems diagnostics Perform limited minor repairs Operate company vehicle on public highways and customer job sites Prospect and market PM services Open and modify own jobs Work nights and weekends as required Perform overtime as required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; a 2‑year technical degree or comparable military training is preferred Minimum 5 years experience in the heavy equipment industry or a related field Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required at some locations Excellent written and oral communication and basic mathematical skills Proficient with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and manufacturer diagnostic tools Good working knowledge of equipment operations, mechanical functions, electrical and hydraulic systems Ability to stoop, kneel, push, pull, twist, carry and lift up to 70 lbs Ability to climb and work at heights up to 20 feet Ability to work in all types of weather conditions Capable of working with limited supervision; self‑starter Maintain excellent customer service Must be able to pass a background, physical, and drug screen
