Merchandiser (FT): North Utah County Area – $5,000 sign‑on bonus! Earn up to $19/hr
Location: Springville, Utah
Responsibilities
Display beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and the sales floor.
Arrange products according to a prearranged plan or approved ideas.
Place price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, or floor.
Transfer product from customer stock room to floor displays to comply with "Sell By" dates and to maximize display and minimize stock room inventory.
Order product for assigned accounts following established procedures to avoid out‑of‑stock conditions.
Originate display ideas or follow suggestions from the Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
Communicate daily with key store personnel on any service or product needs.
Construct or assemble display aids from company‑provided Point‑of‑Sale (POS) materials.
Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities None.
Qualifications Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Communication Skills Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small‑group situations to customers, clients, and employees.
Mathematical Skills Perform basic math functions in all units of measure and formats; interpret rates, ratios, percent, and graphs.
Other Qualifications Some states require employees to be 21 years of age or older when promoting, merchandising, and delivering alcoholic beverages.
Reasoning Ability Apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; solve problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
Competencies Attendance, punctuality, attention to detail, customer service, dependability, productivity, safety, self‑management.
Physical Demands Required to stand, walk, use hands for handling, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear regularly; occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must lift and move up to 70 pounds unassisted and occasionally lift or move objects up to 100 pounds using a hand‑truck or manual lifting device.
Work Environment Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions; moderate noise level.
