As a hotel housekeeping professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, comfort, and overall guest experience within the hotel. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for hotel guests. Availability to work weekends is required.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
Change bed linens, replenish towels and amenities, and ensure rooms are well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
Perform regular inspections to identify any maintenance or repair needs, promptly reporting them.
Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
Pay meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that all surfaces, floors, furniture, and fixtures are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
Monitor and report any damage or loss of hotel property, ensuring that all items are accounted for and properly maintained.
Requirements
Ability to manage your time efficiently.
Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required.
Work well unsupervised.
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
High school diploma.
