Accompanist (Part‑time) – Staff Pool
Location: Houston, Texas

SUMMARY Piano accompanist for voice class, juries, student recitals, rehearsals, and performances.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accompany voice class and other related disciplines.
Rehearse and accompany students for solos performed in voice class and student recitals.
Participate in and accompany student juries – vocal and instrumental.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
EDUCATION
High‑school graduation supplemented by private or college‑level training in piano.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Master’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE Three (3) years’ experience as an accompanist required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Advanced piano skills.
Experience playing and knowledge of instrumental, vocal, and choral repertoire.
Advanced sight‑reading skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work well with students, faculty, and staff in a diverse environment.
