Overview
Ophthalmic Diagnostic Technician at Sight360 (Florida Eye Specialists). We are dedicated to caring for patients' sight daily.
We provide a 360‑degree vision care experience with multidisciplinary teams in ophthalmology, optometry, and optical retail.
Position Type In‑clinic onsite; full‑time.
Responsibilities
Open and close the diagnostic area, maintain equipment and rooms in working condition.
Perform diagnostic tests per physician orders, including visual field (Humphrey), OCT, fundus photography, external photography, and corneal topography (Atlas and Pentacam).
Transfer test results into electronic medical records accurately and efficiently.
Update patient records with proficiency in the EMS or related system.
Comply with all HIPAA regulations in patient information interactions.
Assist ophthalmologists and optometrists with clinical functions, patient work‑ups, and eye medication administration.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum one year in optical or ophthalmology practice.
Skills and Abilities
Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Effective multitasking ability.
Attentive to detail and accuracy.
Travel Travel to other locations may be required to support business needs.
