Summary CHS Dakota Plains Ag in Lisbon, ND is looking for a Propane Truck Driver to deliver propane to local farmers and ranchers. The position offers ample overtime during winter, spring, and fall months. No experience is required; Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain them is required.
Responsibilities
Ensure accurate and on‑time deliveries to customers safely and professionally.
Comply with all local, state, and federal laws, including pre‑trip and post‑trip reporting, proper load securement, and hours‑of‑service regulations.
Assist in the warehouse when not delivering product.
Work extended hours in season to meet business demands.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture, following all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Assist warehouse staff and perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain them.
Minimum age requirement met.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals.
Additional Qualifications
Meet DOT and company requirements.
Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends to meet business demands.
Pre‑employment screening may include drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMCSA Clearinghouse.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift or carry up to 80 lbs, walk, stand, sit, bend, and kneel.
