How You Make a Difference In This Role In this role, you contribute to the stewardship and visual quality of agricultural landscapes across campus by applying horticultural expertise to maintain healthy plant systems. Your work supports and enhances land use efficiency and ensures plant resources are managed in alignment with departmental standards. Through informed plant selection, care, and maintenance, you help showcase a diverse example of Tennessee agriculture on campus.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and maintain campus landscapes, green spaces, ponds, greenhouse, and agricultural areas.
Perform planting, pruning, fertilization, and soil management tasks.
Maintain accurate records related to maintenance activities and schedules for designated areas.
Coordinate with departmental staff and external contractors to support ongoing horticultural projects.
Assist with seasonal planning and resource allocation to support effective landscape and plant management across campus.
