Compensation Range (July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025): $15.75 - $20.74 per hour

Summary Under Supervision of Nutrition Services Manager, serves the students attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness and friendliness.
Responsibilities
Serves the students attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness and friendliness.
Assists in the preparation of food portions and prepares cafeteria counter.
Serves students and staff from the cafeteria counter.
Removes used dishes and assists in the cleaning of counters, tables, and furnishings in the dining area (dining area table should be washed only at the end of the lunch hour).
Performs related duties as indicated in daily cafeteria assignments.
Helps provide attractive, nutritious foods to encourage student participation and daily attendance.
Lift up to 25# as needed.
Assumes any other duties as may from time to time be delegated by the supervisor and the supervisor may make any adjustment in the scope of responsibilities as outlined above which will be in the interest of the school district.
All administrative actions must be in concert with the mission statement, beliefs, objectives and parameters found in the strategic plan of the Rockford Board of Education.
Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must be able to obtain an Illinois Food Service Sanitation Certificate.
Bilingual may be required by location.
Terms Length of Work: 9 months
