Job Summary
The Valet Runner is responsible for delivering a 5-star luxury arrival and departure experience for guests at The Equestrian Hotel, The Equestrian Manor, and at event-based valet activations throughout the property. This role ensures the safe and efficient handling of guest vehicles, while contributing to a polished and professional front‑of‑house experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Service Standards
Greeting guests with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism
Provide seamless valet service for ADA, VIP, and high‑profile guests
Deliver prompt, safe, and courteous vehicle retrievals and returns
Maintain a clean and organized valet stand
Assist with luggage handling and coordinate with bell team when necessary
Operations & Vehicle Handling
Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and efficiently
Follow all traffic flow guidelines and SOPs
Conduct visual inspections of vehicles prior to parking and note any existing damage
Use digital systems for ticketing, parking fee collection, key control, and vehicle tracking
Teamwork & Coordination
Communicate clearly with the Valet Shift Lead, Bell team, Restaurant staff, and Front Desk staff for synchronized guest service
Follow zone assignments and traffic direction provided during pre‑shift briefings
Assist with placing cones, signage, or temporary barriers for safety and organization
Adhere to grooming, uniform, and guest interaction standards consistently
Additional Requirements
Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to operate automobile manual and automatic transmissions confidently
Maintain discretion when handling guest property or information

Physical Requirements

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities
1+ year of valet, driving, or hospitality experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Familiarity with luxury vehicles and valet procedures is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
