Responsible for assisting the service team throughout the meal while adhering to Northern Quest Resort & Casino standards of service. Also responsible for cleaning and resetting tables, monitoring the dining space for guest needs and assisting servers or supervisors with their requests all in an efficient manner, displaying the highest level of guest service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians - Internal Controls, and Northern Quest Policies and Procedures. Responsible for clearing all tables using tray service, resetting them for new guests and ensuring tables are set in accordance with venue standards. Ensure customers achieve a pleasurable dining experience by providing constant, attentive and friendly service to all guests. Assist Server in delivery of amuse and water to guests. Assist Servers with any guest requests for service. Responsible for refilling water, delivering beverages, bread service throughout meal and clearing all soiled dishes from the table after the guests are through eating, while continually providing them with a clean, neat eating area. Be knowledgeable about wine and alcoholic beverages/garnishes and be prepared to answer guest questions. Maintain assigned sections and workstations. Assist other servers with all of the above to ensure total teamwork. Transport soiled dishes and silverware to the dishwasher area in the kitchen, making sure to stack and sort as deemed appropriate and restock clean bus tubs. Reset table settings throughout the shift. Complete all side work in a timely and satisfactory manner to ensure a clean, neat work area with adequate supply level. Communicate all food and service complaints to the Supervisor. Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all side stations and restock all bus stations. Performs as a team member with Hostess/Host, Supervisor, Servers and Kitchen Staff in maintaining a smooth and efficient pace. Available and willing to work any changes in hours deemed necessary for business levels. Responsible for maintaining a good attendance record. Correctly perform all necessary paper and bookwork at shifts end. Maintains confidential daily record keeping of tips. Attend all training meetings. Assist in other projects, as directed. This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Experience

One to three months related experience and/or training helpful; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills & Abilities

Ability to memorize all food and beverage menu items and daily specials in order to answer questions and make recommendations to customers. Prior Bussing or Serving experience a plus. Skill in identifying and resolving problems under pressure conditions. Education

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Other Requirements

Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Work Permit. Washington State Food Handler Permit. - must obtain within 14 days of start date. Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) certification. - must obtain with 60 days of start date. Must be 18 years of age. Available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
