MTM Transit, in partnership with Heartland Rides, is looking for both Full Time & Part Time, Non - CDL Drivers to join our team in Sebring, FL. We currently have training classes that start regularly!

What you’ll need:
Experience, Education & Certifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License or ability to obtain
No driver’s license suspensions/revocations for moving violations in the last 3 years
No more than five traffic violation points in the past 12 months
No serious traffic violations including reckless driving in the last 5 years
No DUI/DWI convictions
Must be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening
Mustpasscriminalbackgroundcheckinvestigation
Valid authorization to work in the United States
Must provide a resume with a minimum of 10 years work history
Skills:
Ability to use a tablet, GPS, two-way radio, or other electronicdevice
Ability to maintain high level ofconfidentiality
Ability to communicate with others and comprehendinstructions
Ability to understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, andschedules
Ability to obtain knowledge of FTA, ADA, and DOTregulations
Familiarity with the main roadways and major highways in the servicearea
What You’ll Do:
Provide safe and reliabletransportation
Demonstrateexcellentdefensivedrivingskills
Provide excellent customer service to both internal and externalstakeholders
Must assist with passenger loading and unloading fromvehicle
Must assist with any mobility device and securement as required for safetyprotocols
Ensure the on-time pick-up and drop off of thecustomer
Demonstrates understanding and sensitivity to the needs of older adults and individuals withdisabilities
Complete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections asrequired
Complete paperwork asrequired
Utilize tablets or electronic devices asrequired
