Position Summary The
Security Guard
will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment within a high-value jewelry wholesale warehouse. This role includes conducting exit screenings of designated employees in accordance with company policy, ensuring loss prevention while upholding professionalism, respect, and privacy.
Principal Responsibilities
Monitor warehouse entrances and exits to ensure compliance with all security protocols
Conduct employee exit searches following established procedures that prioritize dignity, privacy, and legal compliance
Observe, report, and document any irregularities, suspicious activity, or policy violations
Maintain accurate security logs and incident reports
Collaborate with warehouse management regarding security concerns and procedural updates
Enforce access control measures and verify authorization for all personnel
Perform additional duties as required

Ability to enforce policies while maintaining positive working relationships
High level of integrity and reliability
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
Skills & Education Required
Prior security experience preferred, especially in high-value inventory environments
Valid security license (if required by state)
Strong communication skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical security checks
Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting
Special Requirements
Must be comfortable conducting exit screenings in accordance with company policy
Ability to work flexible hours if needed
