This role collaborates with the IET Coordinator, Program Facilitator, Technical Instructors and other administrative staff to assess student needs, facilitate learning labs, prepare students for certification exams, and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and instructional skills and is committed to helping diverse learners succeed in workforce and career readiness programs.**ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:*** Provide academic instruction and support for students enrolled in IET programs.* Facilitate technical learning opportunities and assist students preparing for certification or credentialing exams.* Assess students’ basic skill levels and adapt instruction to meet learning needs.* Administer and proctor assessments as required.* Maintain accurate attendance and performance records, submitting documentation promptly.* Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.* Participate in department meetings, work activities, and college-wide initiatives as assigned.**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:*** Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new instructional technologies.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening.* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.* Demonstrated professionalism, patience, and cultural competency in diverse educational settings.**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:*** Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.* Minimum of one (1) year of teaching, coaching, or related experience.* Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Preferred Qualifications:* Experience delivering industry-related or technical training is preferred but not necessary—training and support will be provided for qualified candidates.**Compensation: $28/hr.****The specific statements shown in each section of this description are not intended to be all inclusive.
