RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs all work in a safe manner and in accordance with all plant and departmental safety rules.
Reports to Supervisor any safety hazard, near miss, safety violation or accident that may occur.
Assists fellow employees to ensure that no one is exposed to risks of injury.
Safely removes bags of trays from conveyor belt.
Visually inspects bags for damaged/imperfect product and reports same to Supervisor or Distribution Coordinator.
Completes appropriate paperwork to document scrap.
Stacks tray bags in a prescribed manner according to tray pattern and color.
Inspects bags to ensure that only one tracer ticket is included.
Repairs broken or damaged bags.
Maintains an accurate count of bags per stack.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Performs other duties that correlate to the foregoing as directed by Supervisor or Distribution Coordinator.
SHIFT SCHEDULE 1st shift position; 7:00am - 3:00pm.
EDUCATION, SPECIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING Education/Work Experience: High School Diploma or GED. At least 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Language Ability: Must have excellent communication skills.
Math Ability: Proficient mathematical skills.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to systematically work through problems, can work with deadlines individually or as part of a team.
Computer Skills: None except Timeclock and Payroll/Benefits.
Travel Requirements: None.
Other (including certifications and licenses): Must have excellent attention to detail.
DEDICATED Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity.
TEAM PLAYER Works well as a member of a group.
DETAIL ORIENTED Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.
EDUCATION High School or better.
