Responsibilities
Perform thorough clinical evaluations of patients with substance use disorders.
Design and implement personalized treatment plans, collaborating with patients and their families.
Administer medication management, including prescribing and monitoring medications for addiction recovery.
Educate patients on addiction, recovery strategies, and lifestyle modifications to support wellness.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance treatment outcomes and patient support.
Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Stay current with advancements in addiction treatment and guidelines.
Qualifications
Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in California.
Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health or Addiction Medicine preferred.
2+ years of experience in addiction medicine or psychiatric setting is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of substance use disorders and relevant treatment options.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
