Golf Wait Staff (Beverage Cart & Clubhouse Service) Position Summary The Golf Wait Staff is responsible for providing exceptional service to members and guests both in the clubhouse and on the course. This includes preparing and serving food and beverages, operating the beverage cart, maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards, and ensuring a positive, welcoming experience.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and serve members and guests in a professional, friendly manner.
Operate the beverage cart on the golf course, ensuring proper stocking and cleanliness.
Take food and beverage orders in the clubhouse and deliver promptly.
Accurately process payments, handle cash, and follow club procedures.
Assist in setting up, maintaining, and cleaning clubhouse dining areas and beverage stations.
Comply with all TABC/Alcohol Service laws and club policies.
Monitor guest needs and respond quickly to requests.
Ensure safe operation of the cart and follow all golf course guidelines.
Support banquet, tournament, and special event service as needed.
Maintain professional appearance, uniform, and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age
(per alcohol service regulations).
Prior experience in food & beverage or hospitality preferred, but not required.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing personality.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable handling cash and operating POS systems.
Must have reliable transportation and availability on weekends/holidays.
TABC (or equivalent alcohol server certification) preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Ability to operate a golf cart safely.
Work in both indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes in varying weather conditions.
