PURPOSE OF POSITION Paint and prepare the correct parts, components, and products for shipment as scheduled according to company and customer specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

More specifically, the employee owner will:

Operate, clean, and prepare products for painting according to PPI procedures.

Install bushings and tap hubs as part of order preparation.

Paint and palletize pulleys in accordance with production standards.

Accurately record daily manometer readings and manage paint waste logs.

Replace thinner and totes as needed to ensure continuous operation.

Apply color coding to products as specified by customer or internal requirements.

Conduct thorough inspections of painted parts and products to ensure quality standards and identify any defects.

Prepare orders for shipment by accurately completing and utilizing shipping paperwork, transfer sheets, tagging processes, and shipping orders.

Utilize and interpret essential shipping documents, including bills of lading, product prints, production schedules, packing lists, shipping orders, and return goods authorizations.

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on paint booths and associated systems to ensure optimal performance.

Maintain a clean and organized work area in and around the paint booth.

Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental protocols to support the well‑being of team members, the community, and the environment.

Commit to achieving the highest product quality standards from the moment an order is received through to its completion.

As business needs arise, complete assignments in other areas and related task assignments in work areas under the guidance of lead or supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proficiency in basic computer applications.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to prepare and inspect parts to meet company and customer specifications, including adherence to color‑coding standards.

Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring safe and compliant work practices.

Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently, such as recording daily readings, managing paint waste, and adhering to shipping protocols.

Collaborative mindset with a strong commitment to fostering a positive and productive team environment.

Ability to accurately measure and interpret dimensions using a tape measure.

Flexibility to complete orders on short notice, meeting customer expectations and deadlines.

Consistent and reliable attendance.

EDUCATION – EXPERIENCE – COMPUTER SKILLS

High school diploma or a general education degree (GED); or

One to three months related experience and/or training; or

Equivalent combination of education and experience.

TRAINING – CERTIFICATIONS – LICENSES

Continually participate in additional training related to the job.

Must be able to frequently stoop/bend.

Must be able to regularly use hands and arms.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.

Specific hearing abilities required for this job include the ability to hear equipment alarms and the ability to hear instructions from others.

ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY

The noise level in the work environment is usually LOUD.

Consistently work will take place in moderate temperature to humid.

Frequent exposure to head, humidity, and industrial equipment.

Respirator use will be required.

Occasional exposure to weather extremes, steam, and heat from autoclave.

Steel‑toe safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
