As a
Groundskeeper , you will be responsible for keeping our property’s outdoor spaces pristine, functional, and safe. In this hands‑on role, you will perform a combination of landscaping, maintenance, and repair tasks while collaborating closely with the maintenance team. Your work will directly impact the overall appearance and appeal of the property, ensuring residents have a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment. Responsibilities:
Perform daily inspections and maintenance of community grounds, including lawns, walkways, parking lots, and common areas. Mow, trim, and edge lawns, and manage seasonal landscaping tasks such as planting flowers and shrubs. Maintain outdoor amenities such as pools, clubhouses, and recreational areas. (CPO certification is a plus) Handle snow removal, salting, and ice control during winter months. Identify and repair basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues as they relate to outdoor equipment. Assist in general maintenance tasks, including drywall repairs, patching, and texture work. Respond to and complete maintenance work orders related to the grounds and outdoor spaces. Manage waste and litter control across the property to ensure cleanliness. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to address maintenance issues. Participate in on‑call for Snow Removal needs. Minimum Qualifications:
Personal set of general tools for grounds and maintenance tasks. Minimum 1 year of experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or general apartment maintenance preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to pass a drug and background check. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Compensation:
Hourly Rate : $20.00 - $25.00 Additional Incentives : Renewal commissions Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance. Paid Holiday, Vacation, and Sick time. 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match. On‑Site Housing is available with a 20% discount. Why Woodspear Properties?
