Position Overview The Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor is responsible for providing a clean, orderly, safe, and attractive environment for residents, visitors, and care team members.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direction and guidance for the housekeeping / laundry staff.
Participate in the hiring, disciplining, and evaluation of housekeeping / laundry care team members.
Conduct inventory of personal items of new residents.
Inspect community cleanliness, sanitation and infection control, and take corrective action.
Order supplies, check shipments, and conduct inventories.
Monitor supply usage for appropriateness and efficiency.
Prepare work schedules and maintain adequate staffing.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Three years of experience in housekeeping / laundry; one year of supervisory experience preferred in a long-term care setting.
