Full Time Tucson, AZ, US 6 days ago Requisition ID: 4123 Salary Range: $51,500.00 To $51,500.00 Annually Summary of Duties: Instructs students in repair of vehicles such as automobiles and light trucks by performing the following duties Provide students with quality career technical training instruction in a safe and clean environment which results in high completion and placement performance. Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems or study habits; coordinate with counselors and other staff as necessary to resolve issues affecting student training. Develop and prepare lessons; recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials. Participate on student evaluation of students’ progress (ESP); establish quality goals for students during each evaluation period. Maintain students’ accountability by documenting class attendance (class periods) daily. Maintain and monitor progress and attendance records, frequently update individual student progress on training achievement records (TARS). Control use of equipment and supplies; make minor repairs, recommend purchases. As applicable, assist in the planning and implementation of CTST projects, provide supervision of students assigned to CTST projects or other center career and technical training projects. Provide students with experiences and practices to help them meet each of the eight career success standards. Assist in developing community linkages and work-based learning (WBL) sites for the career and technical training department. Maintain a safe and clean work area that models high standards for a work environment. Education and Experience: Must be certified in trade.
