Job Description SCHOOL BUS DRIVER
180 Contract, with Holidays, nights and weekends off, summers off with the possibility of extra summer hours if you choose.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Physically and emotionally able to perform the duties required
Submit to a bi‑annal driver record abstract check required
Two years driving experience with a valid driver's license required
Possess a current Ohio CDL Class "B" driver's license with "S" and "P" endorsements and a bus driver's certification recommended - training available
Meet all personnel qualifications of Ohio Department of Education, Ohio Pupil Transportation Operations and Safety Rules 3301-83-06
BCI and FBI background checks required
Job Goals To transport students safely to and from school, field trips, and extracurricular activities in a professional, safe and timely manner.
Duties as outlined in District job description
Start Date As soon as determined by Transportation Director
Compensation $17.85 per hour for Bus Drivers in Training $20.65 per hour for Sub Bus Drivers Compensation based upon education and experience for Contracted Bus Drivers 4 hours daily - Minimum
