Nursing Home Housekeeper / Laundry Aide – Evening Shift Ellicott Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare

is seeking a dedicated

Housekeeper/Laundry Aide

to join our Skilled Nursing Facility in

Buffalo, NY.

Evening shift availability is strongly preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities Housekeeping

Perform detailed cleaning throughout resident rooms, common areas, and designated facility spaces

Maintain a high level of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety at all times

Ensure all housekeeping equipment is cleaned and in proper working condition

Remove trash and soiled linens; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Assist with floor care; floor tech, stripping, and waxing experience is a plus

Work collaboratively as part of the Environmental Services team

Laundry Aide

Collect, sort, and weigh soiled linens and personal clothing

Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently

Fold, organize, and distribute clean linens and garments to units daily

Follow infection control guidelines when handling soiled items

Label or identify resident clothing when needed to ensure proper return

Maintain laundry room cleanliness, organization, and machine upkeep

Monitor supply levels and notify the supervisor when inventory is low

Rate

$16.50-$18.00/hour
