Sports Instructor
is a hands‑on role that will lead athletes and provide expert instruction in their designated sport. The Sports Instructor is directly responsible for providing the i9 Sports Experience and driving a positive youth sports culture on the field. Responsibilities
Assist Volunteer Coaches in leading practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values Help set up and break down program equipment at designated venue(s) Communicate game day information to coaches, players, and parents Understand & enforce the i9 Sports rules books ensuring a fun, learning, and safety environment for all players Keep time and score during the game Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills Qualifications
Sport‑specific (Volleyball) coaching experience & knowledge Highly motivated self‑starter; can work independently & solve problems Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships Ability to work a varied work schedule during the weekends (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks) Be sure to opt‑in to texting so we can reach out to you!
