There are various specialties of Group Exercise Instructors: Yoga, Zumba, Barre, Cycle, Les Mills, PiYo, Pilates, Kickboxing, Boot Camp/HIIT, Strength Training, Tai Chi, Step Aerobics, and more. Some of the exciting tasks you will do as a Group Exercise Instructor include but are not limited to: Demonstrate skills and explain them clearly to class members. Adapt instruction to the learning level of each class. Ensure the safety of all participants during class time. Work with individual students within class structure to correct faults, improve self‑image, and progress in their fitness program. Report to class on time, prepared with materials and equipment, and dressed in appropriate attire. Know emergency procedures and the location of emergency equipment. Maintain class attendance records. Participate in branch recruitment for participants or in program promotion events. Other duties as required. Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or GED. Must be 18 years or older. Must be able to conduct safe, effective, and motivating Group exercise class. Must display an outgoing personality, enabling you to relate well to participants and demonstrate a genuine interest in working with individuals as well as groups of people. Current CPR and AED certification required. Nationally recognized group exercise certification and/or other specialty certifications such as Yoga Alliance, CrossFit, Zumba, Pilates/Pilates Reformer, Martial Arts, Spin/Indoor Cycle, Les Mills, Barre, etc. are preferred. Working Conditions

Able to teach at various times during the day. Regularly required to stand, reach with arms, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Benefits
