Position Overview Junie’s, located inside the Motto by Hilton Nashville, is seeking an energetic and dependable
Barback
to support our bartending team and help deliver exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, team‑focused, and eager to grow their skills in a dynamic, globally inspired cocktail bar environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages by restocking spirits, beer, wine, and mixers throughout service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar, including glassware, tools, and work surfaces.
Ensure bar stations are fully stocked with ice, garnishes, disposables, and supplies at all times.
Remove trash, recycling, and used glassware efficiently to maintain a clean, inviting environment.
Support bartenders in pre‑shift setup and end‑of‑shift breakdown, including inventory and cleaning tasks.
Refill kegs, replace CO₂ tanks, and ensure all equipment functions properly.
Assist in organizing bar deliveries and maintaining proper storage and labeling.
Uphold all sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards in compliance with health and Hilton brand requirements.
Communicate proactively with bartenders, servers, and management to keep service running smoothly.
Qualifications
Previous barback or restaurant experience preferred but not required — we’ll train the right person with a great attitude.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate team needs.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must meet legal age requirements for handling alcohol and possess a valid TABC or state‑issued alcohol service certification (or be willing to obtain upon hire).
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with frequent bending, lifting, and walking.
