Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MOis hiring an Environmental Service Technicianto join our Environmental Servicesdepartment! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. About the Department: Environmental Servicesprovides a clean, safe environment for patients, employees, and visitors using prescribed methods in a professional, courteous manner.
A typical day will include: Cleaningall areas of the
Dialysis Center by performing routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, office, clinical areas, operating rooms, waiting rooms, lobbies, lounges, restrooms and corridors. Ensuringall areas are sanitized according to hospital 7 Step Process. Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment. Notifying supervisor of necessary repairs. Demonstratingthe ability to utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedures. Assisting patients and guests when necessary. Job Requirements: Education:Preferred High School Diploma or equivalent Skills: Service Licensure/Certification: N/A Physical: Prolong periods of standing and walking; ability to read and write documentation;Exerting 20 to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 lbs of force frequently.
