What you’ll be working on…
You will be operating truck and delivery equipment safely to deliver propane gas.
You will perform pre trip and post trip safety inspections of vehicle and equipment.
You will document findings of inspections and ensure appropriate action is taken in regards to any exceptions.
You will prepare and maintain all appropriate documentation required of drivers by the Department of Transportation.
You will observe all traffic rules and practice defensive driving techniques.
You will observe all company, industry, and regulatory guidelines regarding the safe operation of equipment and the delivery of propane gas.
You will record deliveries, meter readings and tank percentages accurately.
You will check credit status of customers prior to making deliveries when on call
You will collect payments from customers and disconnect gas service as directed.
You will be sensitive to customers' situations and provide helpful assistance to resolve problems.
You will perform other related duties as assigned.
Who you are...
You possess an active CDL class B.
You possess a Hazmat endorsement.
You have a keen sense of smell.
You love working with customers and have great communication skills.
You are able to maintain truck in a safe and clean manner
You are comfortable with the below hazards and working conditions:
HAZARDS: Exposure to various substances which could be hazardous if handled improperly.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Assigned tasks are normally performed in field surroundings with exposure to all types of weather conditions.
