Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Technician, Software Verification to join their team. As a Technician, Software Verification, you will be part of the Systems Verification department supporting engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Technician, Software Verification
Location: St Paul , MN
Pay Range: $26/hr on w2
What's the Job?
Perform system-level test execution and collect data for analysis.
Build, maintain, and troubleshoot test fixtures and setups, including ECAD/MCAD, robotics, and motion control systems.
Support test method development and validation activities to ensure product quality and compliance.
Assist in programming and automation tasks using LabVIEW and Python to streamline testing processes.
Document test procedures, results, and observations accurately to support engineering documentation and compliance standards.
What's Needed?
Associates degree or technical certification in electronics, mechatronics, or related fields; equivalent experience considered.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a technician role, preferably within regulated industries such as medical devices.
Proficiency with test equipment, tools, and software for data collection and analysis.
Familiarity with LabVIEW, Python, SolidWorks, and Altium is advantageous.
Strong documentation, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
