As a Production Team Member, you’ll be part of our manufacturing Kitchen team performing essential food production tasks. From mixing and cooking to packaging and cleaning, your contributions help ensure our products meet the highest standards. You’ll work in a fast-paced
refrigerated
environment with opportunities to learn new procedures and collaborate with team members across departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Adhering to food safety guidelines to reduce the chance of contaminating foods. Complying with all HACCP, SSOP, USDA and GMP guidelines and work rules. Following all departmental and production procedures, including certification of Just Foods TM batch tickets. Assembling, sorting, baking, icing, mixing, adding, or slicing of uncooked or finished products. Operating packaging, cooking, slicing, transitioning and/or cleaning equipment. Mixing or blending ingredients according to Ukrop's Homestyle Foods recipes. Inspecting products and notifying supervisor of quality and food safety risks. Maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Recording mix data and other production information. Supporting SQF system compliance and reporting food safety issues. Open to learning new procedures and job functions. Preferred Education and Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred. Previous food service, manufacturing or warehouse training/experience preferred Required Skills and Competencies
Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to work in a time-driven atmosphere and follow strict timelines. Ability to read, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions. Basic arithmetic skills. Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and pushing/pulling. Comfortable working in temperature-variable environments. Working Conditions
Work is performed in a refrigerated production environment with exposure to temperature variations: Work performed primarily in a production plant environment. Exposure to cold refrigerated and warm areas. Use of industrial kitchen equipment and machinery. Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and pushing/pulling. Manual dexterity and visual/hearing acuity required.
