Legacy Medical Academy seeks a dedicated and knowledgeable Instructor Assistant for our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) programs. The Instructor Assistant will support the lead instructor in delivering high-quality education and hands-on training to students pursuing CNA certification. This role involves assisting with course preparation, facilitating classroom and clinical sessions, and providing individualized support to students to ensure their success in the program.
Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Support:
Assist the lead instructor in preparing and delivering course materials, including lectures, demonstrations, and instructional activities.
Student Engagement:
Facilitate student learning by addressing questions, providing feedback, and supporting students in their understanding of course content.
Clinical Instruction:
Supervise and assist students during clinical practice sessions, ensuring they adhere to proper procedures and techniques.
Administrative Tasks:
Help with grading assignments, maintaining student records, and managing course documentation.
Resource Management:
Prepare and organize teaching materials, including equipment and supplies needed for both classroom and clinical settings.
Communication:
Act as a liaison between students and the lead instructor, conveying important information and updates to students as needed.
Qualifications:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification, RN or LPN Required
Previous Experience
in a healthcare or educational setting is advantageous.
Strong Communication Skills
and the ability to engage with diverse groups of students.
Organizational Skills
to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
Patience and Empathy
to support and mentor students through their learning journey.
