We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves being outdoors, enjoys working with children and young people, and brings plenty of enthusiasm to everything they do. If that sounds like you, you might be a great fit for our instructor team at Thorpe Woodlands.
You’ll be delivering a wide range of outdoor activities — from climbing and high ropes to canoeing, archery, team challenges and more — all with the aim of helping participants grow in confidence, develop new skills and learn to work together.
This role is hugely rewarding, but also physically active and at times challenging. You’ll need to be comfortable working in all weathers, happy at height and on the water, and confident communicating with groups of all ages. In return, you’ll join a supportive team, gain valuable experience and training, and work in a beautiful woodland environment.
Start Date: February 2026 Contract: Permanent, 30 hours/week averaged Salary: £13.45/hour + benefits Perks: Staff accommodation available, private medical cover (after 1 year), staff trip, pension, annual discretionary bonus
