Position: Medication Partner
Position Type: Part‑Time
Location: Ankeny, Iowa
Starting wage: $21.00‑$23.00 per hour.
Shift Schedule:
Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 6am‑10am
Week 2: Monday, Saturday, Sunday 6am‑10am

We are looking for someone like you:
Advocate of Empathy – responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.

Ensure the proper administration of medication.
Maintain medication carts and proper record‑keeping.
Proactive in assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
What are we looking for?
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Appropriately certified per state guidelines with certification active and in good standing.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Professional appearance and conduct.
Mature interpersonal skills to work effectively with co‑workers.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our residents.
Positive and energetic attitude who loves our residents.
Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents.
Active, as the role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and assist persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.
Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks. Health screening to be performed by a physician no more than six months prior to or seven days following employment. Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at the time of health screening and annually thereafter.
