Location: 701 Lincoln Loop, Sauk Centre, MN 56378. Job Type: Full-time. Pay: $19.85–$23.82 per hour.
Tri-County Action Program (Tri-CAP) is seeking compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic individuals to join our transit team as a
full-time Bus Driver
in Sauk Centre. This position plays an important role in safely transporting community members while providing friendly, respectful customer service.
Primary Responsibilities
Safely operate a bus on assigned routes while staying on schedule
Provide excellent customer service to all passengers
Assist passengers with mobility aids such as wheelchairs, walkers, and other devices, ensuring proper securement
Conduct daily and weekly vehicle inspections and report any concerns or defects to the Lead Driver
Monitor and manage fare collection
Complete required paperwork related to routes, operations, and passenger concerns
Perform daily cleaning and basic bus maintenance
Qualifications
CDL with passenger endorsement and MN DOT medical exam card, or ability to obtain
Ability to pass a DMV violations check and criminal background check
Ability to comply with FTA drug and alcohol testing requirements, including pre-employment and random testing
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic computer skills and comfort using navigation technology
Availability to work Monday through Saturday as scheduled
