As the Instructional Coach at New Story Schools, you will strengthen teaching practice through collaborative, student-centered coaching. Your work builds educator capacity, promotes high-quality instruction, and supports positive outcomes for all learners.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in special education or a related field
Valid Pennsylvania Instructional II Special Education certification
Experience supporting instructional practice through coaching or mentoring
Strong knowledge of standards-based instruction and curriculum alignment
Ability to build trust through non-evaluative, collaborative relationships
What You’ll Do
Coach teachers using observation, modeling, dialogue, and co-teaching practices
Support alignment of instruction with standards, curriculum, and assessments
Promote inclusive, engaging, student-centered learning environments
Provide professional development to increase educator effectiveness
Collaborate with school leaders to analyze data and support improvement planning
