The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. The Cook will work closely with the kitchen staff to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure that all food is cooked and presented to the highest quality and taste.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling and storage of food items.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to manage and coordinate kitchen operations effectively.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
Handle special dietary requirements and accommodate customer requests when possible.
Assist in menu planning and development, including suggesting new recipes and seasonal items.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role.
Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and food safety practices.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
