R-100206**Job Summary:**The PET Technologist Aide will provide support to the PET technologists, Front Office, Courier and SRS team, while providing a professional, caring atmosphere to all groups and maintain a fast-paced, multi-tasking clinical environment.
This opening will require travel between locations:
CMMC: Monday & Friday, 9a - 7:30p
York: Wednesday, 3p-7:30p**Job Description:****What you will do*** Support PET technologists when needed.* Retrieve CD’s and reports on PET patients.* Deliver reports, CD’s to referring MD’s.* Retrieve and Correlate outside CD’s and reports for reading radiologist.* Deliver CD’s to reading radiologist at serviced facility.* Communicate with and support SRS team.* Monitor all outside CD’s and be sure the CD’s are either returned to correct address or set aside for patient pick-up.* Communicate referring physician experiences to marketing.* Provide liaison and public relations service between the Shields network, radiologists and referring community.* Provide a positive atmosphere to co-workers, radiologists, hospital staff and referring community.* Clean and re-supply equipment rooms as needed.* Once, oriented be familiar with Regulatory Compliance Regulations i.e. DPH, Radiation Control (state or federal).**Required Qualifications****What you need:*** High school diploma or equivalent* 2 + years of experience in a Medical Imaging/ Clinical setting.* Excellent customer service skills.* Excellent oral and written communication skills.* Must be able to sit, stand, walk and utilize a computer for long periods of time.* Must be able to assist patients with mobility difficulties.* Must be able to push, pull and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds.* Must own car and possess drivers license in good standing.* Must have flexibility to travel to Central and Eastern Mass if needed.* Organized* Attention to detail* Self starter/reliable* Good communication skills* Extraverted**Additional Job Description:****Preferred Qualifications:**Pay range for this position is $18-29/hr + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.It is not intended that this Job Description include all details of the work functions of this position. The incumbent will perform work of a lower or equivalent classification as required or directed, and work of higher classification for training and development purposes or as situationally warranted.
