The Transformational Sustainability Science research group at the University of Freiburg is looking for a student research assistant (m/f/d) with a bachelor's degree for a part-time position (40 hours per month) starting in January 2026.

Description The position involves conducting research on a joint Eucor project to determine the potential for offering a solutions-oriented sustainability program in Eucor. The project is being implemented in collaboration with partners from the University of Basel, the University of Strasbourg, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, and the University of Freiburg. It comprises various work packages, such as analyzing degree programs and assessing the interest of students and practitioners (e.g., companies, civil society organizations, local authorities) in such programs.
Tasks
Literature research and the creation of overviews for work packages
Preparation, analysis, and documentation of research data
Preparation of scientific presentations and the final research report
General requirements
Completed bachelor's degree related to sustainability science or related fields
Careful, structured and reliable approach to work
Friendly and open manner with a focus on service
Specific requirements
Experience with AI applications in research, science communication and visualization
Very good written and spoken English skills (minimum C1 level)
Very good German language skills (minimum C1 level)
Confident use of standard PC and software applications
Not required, but desirable: international work/study experiences
