Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.### ### **What You'll Be Doing*** Assist in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on company equipment.* Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.* Learn and apply proper safety procedures and mechanical techniques.* Work alongside experienced mechanics to gain hands-on training.* Maintain accurate service records and document repairs completed.### ### **What Are We Looking For*** Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team setting.* Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in mechanical repairs.* Commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail.* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to challenges.### ### **Physical Demands*** Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.* Stand, walk, crouch, kneel, and climb for extended periods.* Perform tasks that require reaching, grasping, and repetitive movements.* Work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces.### ### **Conditions of Employment*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.### ### **Work Environment*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.### ### **What We Offer*** Starting Pay $22.97 per hour DOE* 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions* Highly competitive benefits programs, including:
