Field Technician
to join our team at the
Ford Kansas City Assembly Plant
located in
Kansas City, MO . This individual will be responsible for performing industrial cleaning services within a manufacturing environment, ensuring paint booths, weld cells, and designated facility areas are cleaned safely, thoroughly, and efficiently. Responsibilities and Job Duties:
Performs industrial cleaning of paint booths, including walls, hoses, windows, grates, lights, and robotic equipment using solvents, high-pressure water blasters (up to 40,000 PSI), and manual scraping and chipping methods. Maintains grease rails and performs minor upkeep as required. Cleans Body Shop weld cells and other designated manufacturing areas as assigned. Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums facility floors and work areas to maintain cleanliness standards. Operates and maintains cardboard balers and manages waste and recycling disposal. Utilizes a fork truck to transport, empty, and return trash and cardboard gondolas to assigned locations. Follows all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and confined space entry requirements. Wears required personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintains a safe and organized work environment. Assists with additional facility services duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum of one-year of experience in an industrial, manufacturing or facility services environment. High school diploma or GED. Demonstrates the ability to safely operate industrial cleaning equipment or shows willingness to be trained. Possesses prior forklift experience or the ability to obtain certification. Maintains strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
