We have the need to hire full‑time 2nd shift Distribution Center Splitters and/or Pickers for our Marshall DC location. Splitters/Pickers are responsible to receive and prepare product for shipment to the retail locations. This position will be scheduled work hours generally between 3:00 P.M. and 1:00 A.M. – 4 days per week (Monday through Thursday). Occasional hours may be required on Friday and/or Saturday during peak times.
Pay Range:
$16.00–$18.00 depending on experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Scan merchandise into inventory using scanning equipment.
Print price tags and price merchandise accordingly.
Break down merchandise into smaller quantities for shipping to retail locations.
Responsible for accurate allocation of quantities.
Submit packing slips and freight bills as necessary.
Cross check quantities to packing slip, making necessary notations when needed.
Load merchandise onto proper pallet, shrink wrap when necessary.
Practice safety in the workplace by using safe work habits.
Put merchandise away into proper bin locations.
Complete daily pick orders for all stores.
Operate forklift, reach trucks, and/or pick machines.
Manage bin inventories and notify manager of discrepancies.
Routine daily maintenance of forklift.
