NOLA Protection Group

is the local leader in Sporting Event Security. You will be part of a team that provides X-ray screening at The Pelican's Home Game. We are responsible for screening all bags and equipment that enters the stadium on game day. Be part of the ACTION. Great Job for Retirees, Part-Timers, School Teachers, Coaches and Much more.

Responsibilities

Operating X‑ray equipment to identify prohibited objects in bags, purses, equipment, and/or on guests, and preventing those objects from entering the event

Performing searches and screening, which may include physical interaction with guests (e.g., pat downs, property searches), conducting bag searches, and lifting/carrying bags, bins and property weighing up to 50lbs.

Controlling entry and exit points

Interacting with the public, giving directions and responding to inquiries

Retaining and implementing knowledge of all applicable Standard Operating Procedures

Aiding in the monitoring and flow of individuals through security checkpoints to reduce wait times, adjusting guest traffic as necessary

Moving baggage to and from x‑ray conveyor systems during screening process

Ensuring security checkpoints are properly supplied with an appropriate supply of bins and organized to ensure a smooth flow of guest traffic for screening operations

Providing information and assistance to guests divesting items into storage bins and moving and restocking bins as needed

Completing logs, forms and other paperwork applicable to assigned duties

Performing other job‑related duties as assigned, including cleaning of x‑ray equipment

Qualifications / Requirements

Must either be registered as a Security Officer with LSBPSE, or be able to meet requirements for registration, including:

Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent

Pass a background and fingerprint check with the Louisiana State Police

Complete 16 hours of necessary classroom training and X‑ray analysis training

Must be in good physical condition to complete necessary assignments, which might include walking or standing for extended periods of time

Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat

Must have a professional appearance

Display exceptional customer service and communication skills

Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Must have a valid driver’s license or valid photo ID

Must have reliable transportation

Experience not required, but preferred
