Pay: $22–$25 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

About the Role The Learning Experience – Hell's Kitchen is seeking a passionate and reliable Preschool Teacher to support our 3–4-year-old classroom. Our preschool program focuses on kindergarten readiness, early academics, social‑emotional development, and creativity through structured routines and play‑based learning.
This role is ideal for an experienced early childhood educator who enjoys leading a classroom, fostering independence, and helping preschoolers build confidence and foundational learning skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily classroom activities for preschool‑aged children in a safe, engaging environment
Deliver developmentally appropriate lessons that support early literacy, math, and problem‑solving
Encourage positive peer interactions, communication, and emotional regulation
Partner with assistant teachers to maintain classroom structure and consistency
Communicate regularly with families regarding progress, routines, and milestones
Ensure compliance with New York State childcare regulations and health and safety standards
Qualifications Candidates must meet one of the following:
Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working with young children plus a high school diploma
Additional requirements
Experience working in a preschool or childcare classroom preferred
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
CPR/First Aid certification preferred
Must meet all New York State early childhood licensing requirements
