Responsibilities and Position Purpose As a Breakfast Cook you will be responsible for stocking and setting up the station, preparing food items by cutting, chopping, mixing and making sauces, cooking food items by grilling, sautéing and other specified methods, and maintaining cleanliness and food sanitation standards.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Take directions from supervisor and retain information received.

Assist with stocking and setting up kitchen stations.

Prepare food including cleaning, cutting ingredients, cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks.

Plate prepared foods based on senior chef guidance.

Work with servers to ensure orders are completed on time.

Ensure all equipment is kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following preventive maintenance programs.

Wash and clean the kitchen and cooking equipment at the end of work shifts.

Fully understand and follow all regulations pertaining to health and safety.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Ability

Knowledge of food and beverage, local and state food handling laws and procedures.

Organized and detail‑oriented.

Strong team player with a hospitality‑first mindset.

Desire to provide phenomenal guest experiences, passion for quality and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and ability to foster cooperation.

Ability to build strong relationships and work with a team of culinary professionals.

Qualification Standards Education

Preference for a previous cooking experience.

Experience / Licenses or Certificates

Minimum of 2 years experience in a restaurant or related field an asset.
