Our Food Service Packaging plant facility in Plymouth, IN is seeking Production Workers that will be an integral part of the Plymouth team supporting Finishing and Forming Department primarily on 2nd and 3rd Shift.

The Production Worker is responsible for operation of small machines. The starting rate is $19.10/hr. Shift Differential offered on 2nd and 3rd Shift (2nd - $0.80/hr, 3rd - $1.00/hr).

How you will impact Smurfit WestRock

Support the Finishing and Forming Department by safely operating various manufacturing equipment, following specific directions, and performing duties as assigned.

Work safely, comply with all safety rules, navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift.

Perform complete make ready and shut down.

Understand Quality inspection criteria.

Identification of product and Labeling.

Maintain waste and efficiency standards.

Perform inspections on various equipment for proper operation and report questionable conditions.

Perform various housekeeping, cleaning, and organizing functions with minimal supervision to ensure areas are clean and free from debris.

What you need to succeed

High School Diploma/GED equivalent required.

Ability to read a tape measure (to 1/16" measurement), do basic math, and some computer skills.

Ability to lift, navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift.

Must be self‑starting/self‑motivated and able to work independently.

Effective communication skills and excellent coordination skills.

Great organizational and time management abilities.

Industrial manufacturing experience is preferred.

Must be flexible on shift.

Must successfully pass pre‑employment screenings; drug test, physical and criminal background check.
