Delivery Courier
– Contract Opportunity
Company Background Associated Couriers/Life Couriers (formerly On‑Time Delivery Minnesota) has over 45 years of experience in the logistics industry. AC leads the industry in freight transportation and 3rd‑party logistics services in the United States. We offer delivery experience for all industries, especially in medical, pharmaceutical, and standard delivery for private and public sectors. Our roots as radiopharmaceutical couriers mean we uphold strict precision and time‑critical deadlines.
Contractor Sought
Routed Deliveries –
Varying routes with a set recurring schedule, though routes may change unexpectedly based on customer needs.
STAT/On‑Demand –
Pickups and rush orders dispatched from a route manager or customer.
Backup/Standby –
Last‑minute fill‑in for routes due to increased daily volume.
Services Sought Pick up and deliver pharmacy medications and medical supplies.
Coverage Sought Reliable independent contractors with availability to run orders Sunday through Saturday, morning, afternoon, and evening. Contractors with 4+ days of availability will be given preference.
Contractor Commissions
Earnings per mile, per route, or per stop (plus variable fuel surcharge in some markets).
Weekly paid through our third‑party pay administrator Openforce.
Specific commission details will be discussed in the pre‑contracting process.
Requirements for Contract
Age 21–75 years (per insurance requirements).
Attentive to detail.
Live within 25 miles of zip code

Own a reliable and registered car, SUV, or minivan (2010 or newer).
Have and maintain state minimum auto insurance for bodily injury and property damage.
Can choose to maintain own qualifying workers’ compensation insurance or enroll in our Occupational Accident Insurance program for a weekly fee.
Sign up with an EIN as a company or with a U.S. Social Security Number as a sole proprietorship.
Be able to complete contractor‑qualifying screenings and online delivery preparation modules.
Have a clean driving record with no more than two moving violations or at‑fault accidents in the last three years.
Have an iPhone or Android smartphone for GPS order tracking and order scanning.
Supply a cooler with reusable ice packs for temperature‑controlled specimens.
Willing to drive in inclement weather to service customers.
Adhere to customer required professional appearance standards:
Solid white and/or light blue polo shirt; solid colored pants (no athletic wear or sweatpants); comfortable shoes/boots (no flip‑flops, high heels, or sandals); 1099‑Contractor ID prominently displayed (supplied by Associated Couriers).
Contracting with Associated Couriers Our 1099 contracts are offered to interested and qualifying contractors on a first‑come, first‑served basis. The pre‑contracting process takes approximately 2–5 days. Contractors who become inactive during this phase will be removed from the process.
