Base pay range: $12.50/hr - $15.00/hr
We are excited to announce that we are adding to our incredible team of Instructors! Here at 9Round, we empower members to become stronger both mentally and physically through a 30-minute, full-body, kickboxing-inspired workout led by a 9Round Certified Instructor — but it's more than just a fitness studio. Our goal is to positively impact every single person that walks through our doors.
What a 9Round Certified Instructor Does
Provides an effective workout for every individual by scaling the workout to take into account fitness levels, injuries, and health concerns.
Creates a high‑energy, safe, and welcoming atmosphere.
Gets to know members, encourages them, and helps them reach their fitness goals.
Key Responsibilities
Training
– Deliver high-energy instruction, guide members through each round, ensure proper form and technique, and maximize workout effectiveness.
Selling
– Assist growth of the member base by selling memberships after trial workouts, recruiting new people, and supporting marketing efforts.
Cleaning
– Maintain a clean, well‑stocked, and organized studio to create a strong first impression.
Key Qualifications
High school diploma
CPT preferred, but not required
Excellent communication skills
Ability to empower and motivate others
Professionalism
Energy and confidence
Willingness to learn
Excellent customer service and sales skills
Physically fit and committed to a healthy lifestyle
Enthusiastic, outgoing, and warm manner
Job Requirements
Complete 9Round Certification
Provide clients with a strong workout every time
Demonstrate workouts and provide modifications when necessary
Engage clients with mitt training, Thai pads, and focus sticks (training provided)
Retain and increase client participation
Set up and clean the studio
Sell memberships
Follow up with clients and prospects via texts and emails
Job Type Part‑time – 25 to 35 hours per week
Compensation $12.50 to $15.00 per hour (based on experience level and certifications), plus bonuses for membership sales.
