Job Description: Other duties as assigned. Leads and mentors staff to ensure optimal performance and competency in care delivery. Administers commonly used drugs and solutions in Cardiology and Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures. Conducts holistic, individualized assessments of each patient considering age, physiological, and psychological status. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. Participates in the transfer of patient information to ensure continued quality care. Documents all phases of patient status while in care. Develops and maintains positive working relationships within the practice and other departments. Implements and monitors patient care plans to ensure effective treatment. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders accurately and promptly. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's of Nursing (Required), Bachelor's of Nursing
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range: $31.64 - $50.13
