With a wide array of brands in exciting locations, HRI Hospitality is the destination to set course for growing your career!JOB SUMMARY Maintain cleanliness standards of the Brand/Hotel in all guest rooms and public areas. JOB DUTIES • Arrive at scheduled start time in appropriate uniform and ready for work. • Clean a standard of 16 rooms per day; may be more on busier days. • Clean each assigned guest room according to brand/hotel cleanliness standards. This includes, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning floors & bathrooms, straightening furniture, spot cleaning walls, windowsills door frames, etc. • Make all beds in assigned guest rooms and replace linens as needed/requested by guests. • Replenish all assigned guest rooms with standard room & bathroom amenities. This includes, soap, shampoo, conditioner, terry, tissue, coffee, creamer, drinking glasses, writing supplies, etc. • Collect & discard trash from guest rooms. • Prepare housekeeping cart with daily supplies and maintain cleanliness of cart. • Follow proper procedures when recovering lost and found items and communicate to manager/supervisor as needed. • Report all maintenance deficiencies in guest rooms and throughout other guest areas you’re working in. • Watch for safety hazards and report them immediately to your manager/supervisor. • Follow all instructions when filling spray bottles with cleaning chemicals; never mix chemicals. • Maintain control of keys issued and return them at the end of each shift. • Perform other duties as directed, developed, or assigned. • Attend all mandatory Department and Hotel meetings. • Complete all required training within timeframe allotted. • Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures as required. • Support environmental commitments by acquiring the knowledge, skills, and values to be a leader in the global goal of “greening” the hospitality industryMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Minimum 18 years of age • US work authorization required • Must meet grooming standards • Min 6 months previous room attendant/housekeeping experience in hotel/resort or similar • Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds • Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time • Must be able to use hands, arms, and fingers for extended periods of time. • Ability to work as part of a team • Able to work with little or no supervision • Strong attention to detail as it pertains to cleanliness standards • Able to demonstrate high energy, and strong enthusiasm for customer service • Able to effectively communicate in English • Able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.HRI is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides fair and equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or any other protected status prohibited under Federal, State, or local laws.
