This is a seasonal role anticipated to run through approximately November 7, 2026. Qualified candidates must be able to pass the American Red Cross Lifeguarding swim test and have availability for a minimum of three full days per week, with at least one weekend day included.
Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring all company policies and procedures are adhered to by the self and guests
To ensure a safe working environment at all times for both internal and external guests.
Use and maintain water park facilities and equipment
Follow all health and safety procedures
Acquired product knowledge and keep updated on changes
Be aware of sales opportunities within the resort
Understand the resort’s objectives and what part they can play to ensure success
Ensure water park area and capacity is managed per local, state, and federal guidelines
Contribute to innovations that would enhance guest experience
Maintain minimum training as set down by the department’s procedure
Provide medical support from team is appropriate for all guests
Provide excellent guest service with safety in mind
Take pride in their dress & appearance
Demonstrate ownership of all Model Citizen facilities
Qualifications & Experience Background and Experience:
Must be 16 years or older.
Have a current StarGuard ELITE Certification or the ability to pass a LEGOLAND provided training.
Have a current StarGuard ELITEFirst Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer or the ability to pass a LEGOLAND provided training.
Must be able to pass written and practical skills exam for American Red Cross exams prior to duty.
Must be able to pass the StarGuard ELITEswim test for Lifeguarding: 300 yard swim, 2 minute tread water, and complete 1 minute 40 second timed event.
Must have visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents, and the physical ability to act swiftly in emergency situations.
Other Job Requirements:
Performs other duties as assigned.
Pay Range USD $15.00/Hr.
