Position Overview
The position of the Middle School Science Teacher will implement into daily instruction appropriate educational curriculum based on the adopted Nevada State Standards and the course syllabi. Create and maintain an educational and Christian atmosphere that encourages effective student learning and supports the mission of the school.

Demonstrates personal character: “In everything, set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech…” Titus 2:7-8
Demonstrates passion for excellence worthy of Christ: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…” Colossians 3:23
Exemplifies a Christ-like attitude in both written and verbal communication
Ministers and prays with others; communicates the love of Jesus to further the mission of the School. Attend, participate, and lead faculty devotions and Chapel on a rotating basis
Approachable, with an appropriate balance of high expectations, patience, and mentorship
A team-player who is willing to listen to the ideas, concerns, and solutions of others
Knowledgeable and competent in areas of safe school culture necessary to support school’s mission
